About me

Working in pencil, pastel and paint, I create life-like artworks that centre upon the living creature. Bringing together a fascination with the animal kingdom and a natural leaning towards realistic art I enjoy exploring a diverse range of subjects and my detailed work aims to celebrate every inch of their individual characteristics and natural beauty, bringing them to life on canvas.

Having soaked up everything art related at school I followed a marketing direction at university and throughout my working life. I lived and worked in Canada for a year and went on to work for a publisher of beautiful mind, body and spirit books. After having my children I rediscovered my passion for drawing animals and the hobby quickly turned in to a full time job.

I work from my studio at home in Berkshire, England where I live with my husband, two sons and our many pets. When I’m away from my easel you will find me walking our dogs in the countryside, performing taxi duties for our teenage sons, or more likely eating! I feel so lucky to have rediscovered my passion and since starting professionally in 2016 I have worked on many wildlife and pet artworks and I am enjoying every minute.
